Social ForEx trading: etoro!

What is forex?

[Source WikiPedia] The foreign exchange market (forex, FX, or currency market) is a form of exchange for the global decentralized trading of international currencies. Financial centers around the world function as anchors of trading between a wide range of different types of buyers and sellers around the clock, with the exception of weekends. The foreign exchange market determines the relative values of different currencies. The foreign exchange market is the most liquid financial market in the world. Traders include large banks, central banks, institutional investors, currency speculators, corporations, governments, other financial institutions, and retail investors. The average daily turnover in the global foreign exchange and related markets is continuously growing. According to the 2010 Triennial Central Bank Survey, coordinated by the Bank for International Settlements, average daily turnover was US$3.98 trillion in April 2010 (vs $1.7 trillion in 1998). Of this $3.98 trillion, $1.5 trillion was spot transactions and $2.5 trillion was traded in outright forwards, swaps and other derivatives.

How to learn ForEx?

As stated above the ForEx is the most "liquid" financial market, which means the market is moving constantly. The risk of losing a lot of money is high, but the profits can be very high as well. My first steps on the ForEx market were in Binary Options.

The choice is easy with binary options, Up or Down: Determine the trend on the option Set the amount Choose Up (also known as Call) or Down (also known as Put). Wait for the option to expire When your choice is right you will immediately see your profit added to your balance. Some binary options programs will also pay out a small amount of your initial traded amount if the option expires in a loss.

Social Trading

Another way to learn more about the ForEx market is to trade on a social trading site like etoro. Their CopyTrader Openbook trading gives you the option to follow the best ForEx guru's. Simply find a Guru that suits your trading style (low, medium or high risk) and click the copy trader button. Then just sit back and watch (or even walk away) the Guru's will do the trades for you and your account will copy all their actions.
